A Plush Neighborhood
The West Loop Community Organization (WLCO) serves as the definitive source for current issues and events inside the West Loop community in Chicago. Thirty-nine-year old Eric Sedler is the President of WLCO since 2002. Offering social events as well as promoting beneficial developments are just a few ways on how the organization works to enhance the quality of life inside the West Loop Community.
The community of West Loop is filled with major attractions such as the Harpo Studios, Hubbard Street Dance Co. as well as a new eight-screen movie complex from Sundance Cinemas that serves as a landmark at West Jackson and Aberdeen.
The neighborhood boasts 19 fitness centers, 34 art galleries, 18 non-profit organizations and 16 real estate related offices along with six pet care shops, three ticket brokers, as well as the Museum of Holography.
“We have a mix of retail, commerce and industrial history living side by side. You pull into this neighborhood and realize what it is like to live in the city,” WLCO president and resident Eric Sedler says. “It is concentrated, accessible, and I love it.” Eric Sedler and his wife, Marla and their two children are residents of the West Loop neighborhood.
