T-Mobile Continues to Rule the Mobile Broadband Market, P3 Poll Reveals
T-Mobile can pat itself on the back for being the top mobile broadband service provider for the third consecutive quarter. A survey carried out by testing agency P3 Solutions and commissioned by T-Mobile, ultimately found T-Mobile to be providing the swiftest web browsing experience and the best email performance. Moreover, its upload speeds were found to be 44 percent faster than its closest competitor.
P3 Solutions tested different mobile networks by using them to visit popular websites, send emails, time downloads of files of various sizes, and to utilise common web applications. In all these areas, T Mobile was found to be the best performer.
Emin Gurdenli, chief technology officer at T-Mobile UK, pointed out to better network performance and service reliability as the major competitive advantages of T-Mobile that have resulted in growth in the customer base for the company. More customers mean an increase in data passing through the T-Mobile broadband network, and reports estimate that the number has jumped to more than 300 percent since mobile broadband was first offered for commercial use in late 2007.
This is not the first accolade won by the company, as T-Mobile already has another feather in its cap. In an independent YouGov survey, it got top scores in network coverage and customer service. It looks like T-Mobile is giving its competitors a hard run for their money.
